These Terms explain how vendor applications, approvals, payments and event participation work at Creative Collective Events. We have aimed to keep them clear and fair. Please read them before submitting an application.
1. Introduction and acceptance of terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to anyone who uses this website or applies to participate as a vendor at markets, craft fairs, festivals and other events organized by Creative Collective Events (“we”, “us” or “our”). By submitting a vendor application or participating in one of our events, you agree to these Terms.
If you are applying on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not submit an application.
2. Eligibility and vendor responsibilities
To apply, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. As a vendor, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete and current information in your application and keeping it up to date.
- Offering only the types of products or services described in your application and approved by us.
- Operating your booth safely, courteously and in line with these Terms and any event-specific guidelines we provide.
- Your own business operations, including pricing, sales, taxes, staffing, equipment and inventory.
3. Application submission and review
Vendor applications are submitted through our online Vendor Application. Submitting an application is a request to be considered. It does not guarantee acceptance, reserve a booth, or create an obligation for either party to proceed.
We review every application individually. In reviewing applications, we may consider factors such as product fit, originality, quality, the balance of product categories at an event, available space, and compliance requirements. We may request additional information, and we may decline or waitlist an application. Application decisions are made at our discretion and in a manner consistent with applicable law; we do not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by law.
4. Approval and participation confirmation
Participation follows four distinct stages. Each stage is separate, and only the final stage reserves your place:
- Application submitted. You receive an application reference. Your application status is “Pending”.
- Application approved. We notify you by email that your application has been approved, and share the participation terms and any applicable fees for the event(s).
- Fees paid. Where fees apply, you complete payment using only the official payment instructions we send you, by any deadline stated in those instructions.
- Participation confirmed. Once all required steps are complete, we send a final written confirmation. Your booth is reserved only at this point.
If required steps are not completed by the stated deadline, we may release the space to another vendor after notifying you.
5. Fees, payment deadlines, and payment security
Any participation fees, payment deadlines and accepted payment methods will be disclosed to you in writing before you are asked to pay. We do not request payment at the application stage.
Payment security: Only pay using instructions sent from creativecornercollectivellc@gmail.com. We will never ask you to pay through a personal social media message, gift cards, or an unverified third party. If you receive a suspicious request claiming to be from us, please contact us before making any payment.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Booth assignments and setup requirements
Booth locations are assigned by us to create a balanced, accessible event layout. Requested booth sizes and locations are considered but not guaranteed. Setup and teardown times, vehicle access, and any equipment or display rules will be communicated before the event.
- Keep your display within your assigned space and keep walkways and emergency routes clear.
- Secure tents, canopies and displays appropriately for weather conditions, including with adequate weights where outdoor tents are used.
- Electricity is available only where we have confirmed it in writing for your booth.
- Leave your space clean and free of waste at the end of each event day.
7. Vendor conduct and product standards
We aim for every event to be welcoming and respectful. Vendors are expected to treat shoppers, other vendors, volunteers and staff with courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior, or misleading sales practices are not permitted.
Products must be accurately described, safe, and lawful to sell. Items that infringe others’ intellectual property, are counterfeit, or are prohibited by law may not be offered. We may ask a vendor to remove an item that was not included in the approved application or that does not meet these standards.
8. Permits, licenses, insurance, and legal compliance
Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any business licenses, permits, registrations or tax accounts required for their activities, including collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax under North Carolina and local law.
We may require vendors to provide proof of permits or general liability insurance for certain events or product types. Any such requirement will be communicated before participation is confirmed.
9. Food safety and regulated products
Vendors selling food, beverages, or other regulated products (for example cosmetics, candles with specific safety requirements, or products subject to labeling rules) must comply with all applicable federal, state and county requirements, including any health department permits, food handling rules and labeling requirements. Please describe any regulated activity in your application. We may request copies of permits or certificates before confirming participation.
10. Event cancellations, postponements, and schedule changes
We plan each event carefully, but circumstances such as severe weather, venue issues, public safety concerns or other events outside our control may require us to change the schedule, relocate, postpone or cancel an event. If this happens, we will notify confirmed vendors as promptly as reasonably possible using the contact details provided in their application.
How fees are handled in these situations is explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
11. Photography, promotional content, and permissions
We may photograph or film our events for promotional purposes, which may include general views of booths and displays. Where a vendor’s booth, products or business name is featured, we may use those images on our website, social media and promotional materials.
If you prefer that your booth, products or people not be featured, please tell us in writing and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your request in future materials. We will not use a person’s likeness in paid advertising without their permission.
12. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your business name, logos, product designs and images. By submitting images or descriptions with your application, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use them to promote the event you are participating in. You confirm you have the right to grant this permission.
The Creative Collective Events name, logo and website content belong to us and may not be used without permission, except to accurately state that you are a participating vendor at one of our events.
13. Liability and reasonable limitations of responsibility
Vendors are responsible for their own property, products, displays and equipment, and for the conduct of their staff. We recommend vendors carry insurance appropriate to their business.
We do not guarantee sales, visitor numbers or business results at any event. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to a vendor relating to an event is limited to the participation fees paid by that vendor for that event. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable North Carolina or United States law, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Each party is responsible for claims arising from its own negligence or breach of these Terms.
14. Privacy and personal information
We handle the personal information you provide in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and the choices available to you.
15. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Changes will not apply retroactively to a participation already confirmed in writing unless you agree, or the change is required by law.
